It's boring to increase Powerleveling of world of warcraft.

A view of dps

I'd had a look at Webstats average dps values for a mage at my level (SSC) and it's 1900, mine is around 800-900 and I thought I was majorly slacking (and as I'm one of the top in my guild that we were vastly underperforming). I feel a bit better knowing we're probably around where we should be.

On-topic: I've never been to those fights, but from the ones I have experienced that are more about brains than big numbers (i.e. phase transitions at Hydross and Leo + inner demons) for phase transtitions showing the target of target should let you see who's not paying attention. I generally just tell everyone to watch their threat during transitions in an ever increasingly unhappy voice, reminding people that we're not going to do the fight if they keep pulling agro and also that things like health/mana pots or buffing cause threat too. If there's a persistant problem with a specific player either an officer or class leader will have a chat with them.

From PvE to PvP, my first 15 levels

I am a long time PvE supporter. The last time I played on a PvP server was two years ago when I created an alt to get a hold of a friend. I've never really enjoyed the idea of getting ganked as I try to level my lowbie toon. It just didn't seem fun for some reason. So in an effort to expand my WoW horizons, I'm headed off to create a shaman on a PvP server. In fact, not just a PvP server, an RPPvP server. This should really push my limits and make me look at things in new ways.

There has been a lot that I've heard over the years about PvP servers: how awful it is to level a toon, how hard it is to find a group, having to find hiding places to log off at, never being able to complete some quests, etc... Then there is the ultimate insult to those of us that play on PvE servers: PvE carebears. Of course, having grown up in the eighties, I fail to see how that's an insult.

PTR Notes: Nethers no longer BoP

Nethaera promised that patch 2.4 would be progressively tested, and we are now seeing that she was indeed correct. Some major changes have been applied to the PTR tonight:

Nether Vortices can now be purchased for 15 Badges of Justice (and 7g20)

Still have fun in World of Warcraft?

The most fun I have had in WoW, was the esperience of leveling my first character. It may have taken a year, but I enjoyed it. Blizzard put huge amounts of work into the stuff before 60(the original level cap). But now, there seems to be no one going through that. When I was leveling the first time there were still hundreds of people on my server going through it the first time and Molten Core was a long off dungeon that did not mean much to me. And though it was a horrific trial, getting ganked had an element of fun to it, being a druid I would shapeshift out of higher level snares, and dodge and evade my way into an escape... and green whelp armor was hilarious when it procced a full tier 1 rogue.

With No lvl 70 make a twink in World of Warcraft

Actully you can make a twink with no main. First you get some
gold by just questing or asking or ninja.... Then you get the money and make a AH alt who sits at AH and just buys stuff
like Ace, two, three of anything and sell for a tiny bit more
Then you keep on doing that( which can get boring)until you have money then you Buy HIgher lvl items and sell for alot more.

Then you keep doing that and you will finally make some money

Druid feral form, cat or bear?

The key to success as a Druid is to utilize all the abilities given to you. Versatility is our motto. Our mantra. While each form mimics another class, it's not as powerful as the pure class and staying in one form all the time makes you a lesser version of that class. Mixing all our forms is what makes us strong.

we finally got the damn fish down

WOOHOO.... Lurker down well we finally got the damn fish down.... after several 20% 2% 32%.... man that was frustraiting... and then he drops shitty healing gear... even our healers were pissed... ROFL.... how is that for irony.... lol.... to forum · permalink · [Encourage,Ignore,Watch] · 2008-01-22 00:26:00 · Reply to this

got some more arena points coming on Tuesday

Last night we had 10 signups for Kara, but only 7 showed. A couple logged, so the 5 remaining ones, our main healer, our OT, warlock class lead, one of the better mages, and top dps (me) decided to try heroic BF. We were flying through there until the room with the second boss. Apparently, the groups that come out when you pull the lever are immune to movement impairment spells, and occasionally resist traps. The only reliable CC was sheep. The first group went ok. My trap was resisted, so the lock feared him. Mage sheeped the other, and we dpsed down the main target, moving to the feared one, then the sheeped one. Second group comes out, trap resisted, fear resisted, sheep was ok. I MD the loose mob onto the tank. Third group, trap resisted, fear resisted, MD on cooldown, we wiped because the loose mob one shotted the mage and my pet. So we res, and I had to MD on the first group. So we wiped on the second group. Third try, it looks like we're gonna make it, because my traps hold for the first 2 groups. Third group, I had to use MD, and the fourth we wiped on. I think this part needs a tankadin that can hold aggro on multiple mobs.

Earlier in the week, got some more arena points coming on Tuesday. That sick axe is -mine- muahahaha. One really funny match - shadow priest and warlock of some kind. I think they thought we were MM spec, because they just came running at us. Probably they were going to fear bomb the snot out of us, but we both popped BW at the same time, and the match was over before we turned normal again.

In 2000, CEO pay was statistically 300:1 to minimum wage. In 2005, it's 431:1. If minimum wage matched growth rate with CEO pay from 1990 to 2005, it would now be $19.00/hr.

Is Ann Coulter a transexual? What's with that adams apple?

how everyone would rank heroic dungeons

I'm curious as to how everyone would rank heroic dungeons, from easiest to hardest. Obviously some are easier with a pally tank or a warlock in group, but overall, how would you rank each one? Here's my list: (1-easiest) 1. Slave Pens 2. Underbog 3. Sethekk Halls 4. Mechanar 5. Ramparts 6. Blood Furnace 7. Botanica 8. Steamvaults 9. Black Morass 10. Mana Tombs 11. Shattered Halls 12. Arcatraz 13. Shadow Labs (13-hardest)

I'm going to lose the gear

Oh noes I'm going to lose the gear I farmed on 4 different characters with bots.

Oh wait, just got a warning.

Every warning is permanent, you can petition against an action enough warnings and you can get your account closed peranently. I see this as a very good thing.

On top of that as I read further down the thread, if you have asshats who sit on top of battlemasters again; it's a zone disruption(blocking a doodad), petition a GM, note the name, time place and be done with it. It's a warning offence, if they've done it more then once be happy that they'll probably get a 3hr vacation for being an idiot.
